Shrewsbury athletes produced some good performances at the final track and field meeting of the season.
In the under 11 age groups, Raphael Carson came 1st in the 60m boys race in 8.7secs. and 1st in the150m in 21.56. Raphael also threw 38.13 in the howler competition coming 1st. Hannah Greenway 3rd and Ella Bean 7th in the girls 60m. Hannah also came 3rd in the High Jump with 3.47 and Ella 2nd in the Howler in 12.72. Bridget Williams clamed 1st in the 150m in 22.94 and Ella Bean 7th in 26.72
In the under 13 age groups Madeleine Aston 2nd in the 100m in 13.72 and 2nd in the 200m in 28.93 and Madeleine Parsons 3rd in 29.48. Adam Edwards was 1st in both the 800m and 200m in 2.22m and 27.96s. Harry Morris and Reuben Green 2nd and 6th in the 100m in 13.45s and 14.19s. Reuben also came 3rd in the high jump 1.15m and 5th in the Long Jump with 3.83m. Jamie Speake came 10th in the Long Jump with 3.30m. Lilly Parkes came 6th in the Long Jump with 3.55m
In the under 15 age groups Chloe Speake and Laura Hulme came 2nd and 4th in the 100m in 13.5s and 13.9s Chloe also won the 75m hurdles in 12.61 and 3rd in the Long Jump with 4.61m. In the triple jump, Stephanie Walker came 4th with 1.45m and 4th in the Long Jump and 5th in the shot.
In the under 17 age groups Max Millerchip came 4th in the 100m
Katie Hulme came 3rd in the 80 hurdles with 12.9s
In the high jump Rebecca Walker came 1st with a jump of 1.6m and Louis Schofield 1st with 1.65m Louis also came first in the Long Jump with 6.04 with Bradley Davies-Pugh 2nd with 5.99m and 1st in the Triple Jump with 12.47m
In the Long Jump Dora Tomlinson came 2nd and Katie Hulme came 3rd 5.15m and 5.06m.
Jess Gunner ran virtually on her own in the 3,000m to smash the meeting record by 20 seconds finishing in 10.58s
