Welcome to Shrewsbury Athletic Club, a medium sized club for athletes aged 9 (who are also in school Year 5) - there is no upper age limit.

We are based at the Track, at Shrewsbury College, London Road.  The junior section compete in the Shropshire Young Athletes League, track and field (summer) and cross country (winter). There may be a wait for younger age groups. Applications for membership are made online - use this link to see the options and apply.

Training takes place throughout the year on Monday and Wednesday evenings. In the winter we have a floodlit track. See the Training & Venues page for full details.

The Club offers training in most Track and Field events with qualified coaches.

Our senior distance running group is very strong, competing in road, track, fell, trail and cross country. The men’s and women's cross country teams compete in the North Wales League.

Younger members can take part in the increasingly popular Sportshall Athletic Meetings.
