The final round of the Shropshire Young Athletes League (SYAL) took place today at the Oswestry School fields on 15th February, where athletes faced challenging conditions in the cold weather and muddy course. The course was particularly tough, with sections of deep boggy ground that made every stride a struggle. Despite the challenging conditions, the athletes showed incredible determination and grit, ready to give their all in the final push of the season.
U11 Girls (Team Gold this season)
Norah was 1st again today setting the early pace and pulling clear during the race. A perfect prep race for her ISA schools nationals coming up next month. Lucy, In perhaps one of the performances of the day came home in 3rd showing some great improvement over the season.
