Sara Willhoit produced an international standard performance with a top ten finish in a strong field of runners in the Snowdon Twilight Uphill Race, a race starting in Llanberis and finishing at the summit of Mount Snowdon and popular as a warm up race for the main Snowdon International Race later this month, finishing 8th overall and 1st Woman in a time of 49/14, ahead of the Club's top fell runner Paul Jones in 9th place and 1st Veteran Over 40 in 49/21. It is proving to be an outstanding year for the Club's female fell star, in which she is challenging for a podium place in the British Fell Running Championships and recently finished 8th Woman in the Bala Sprint Triathlon.

A team of young Club athletes were outright winners as well as Junior winners in the Wenlock Olympians Relays, with Jack Kinrade, Freddie Allwood, Adam Bentham and Zach Mckenna storming to victory in a course record of 31/25, their team having the lowest average age of 11.25 in an event with team age ranges from 11.25 to 51.75.

There were three age category victories for Club runners in the Middletown Show Hill Race, with Graham Jones 6th and 1st Veteran Over 60 in 49/29, Kevin Francis 8th and 1st Veteran Over 50 in 52/50 and Gill Evans 16th and 1st Lady Veteran Over 55 in 64/27. In extremely hot conditions resulting in a high number of runners not completing the race, Stuart Proctor finished 9th and 2nd Veteran Over 50 in 56/20 and Graham Parton 21st in 71/41.

On the track scene, a British Milers' Club Regional Meeting took place at Tipton, where Gabe Morris finished 2nd in an 800m race in a personal best time of 2/03.95 and 1st Veteran Over 35 and Iris Downes won her Under 15 Girls 800m race also in a personal best time of 2/18.50. Chloe Speake qualified for the English Schools' Athletics Championships with a new personal best time of 11.77 in the Under 15 Girls' 75m hurdles at the Mason Trophy Inter Counties Schools Championships.
