Two runners from Shrewsbury Athletic Club represented the Club at the Midland Cross Country Championships at Leamington on Saturday, Charlie Rogers finishing 88^th in 46/31 and Will Preston 90^th in 46/42, fine performances on a tough 12K course and a very strong field.

On the road running scene, Mel Price won the Womens' race at the Ilmington 10K in Warwickshire in 41/46, her first victory in Club colours in only her second race for the Club, Paul Jones finished 11^th and 1^st Veteran Over 45 in the Four Villages Half Marathon in Cheshire, with Club colleague Sara Willhoit 3^rd in the Womens' race in a personal best time of 1/20/38. Pete Hughes finished 5^th in the Gnosall 10K in 39/51. At the Buff Winter Trail Wales Half Marathon around the arduous trails and tracks of the Coed y Brenin Forest, Michael Betts finished 10^th in 1/34/10 and Anna Bartlett was 16^th in the Womens' race in 2/03/36.
