The Shropshire Winter Fell Series has concluded with the staging of the Carding Mill Canter and Wrekin Fell races. At Carding Mill, club captain Graham Jones was first home for the Club in 17th place and 1st Veteran Over 60 in 52/21, with Gill Evans 77th and 1st Lady Veteran Over 55 in 67/16 and Dan Fleetwood 104th in 76/22. In the Wrekin race, Matt Hall, in only his second fell race, edged out club colleague Gabe Morris, the two finishing in 12th in 43/29 and 16th in 45/24 respectively. Darren Mitchelmore, father of junior club star Callum, impressed in his first race for the club, further strengthening the Club's Over 50 squad with 35th place in 49/19 and 5th Veteran Over 50, with Andy Lewis 67th and 4th Veteran Over 60 in 56/36. Gill Evans was 81st and 1st Lady Veteran Over 55 to take the Over 55 crown for the Series.

James Hickinbottom kept his marathon preparation on track with 15th place in 2/09/19 in the Knighton 20 Mile Race, a brand new event to replace the long established Stafford 20. Jacqueline Macey, back from injury and back to impressive form, finished 3rd in the Womens' race in 2/27/35 to consolidate her preparation for the London Marathon.

Callum Mitchelmore, Midland Under 15 Boys Champion at the recent Midland Cross Country Championships at Loughborough, continued his outstanding cross country season with 6th place, running for Shropshire, in the Under 15 Boys Inter Counties Cross Country Championships at Cofton Park, Birmingham.

In the Ironbridge Half Marathon, Alan Dean produced a personal best time of 1/25/27 to finish in 18th place and 4th Veteran Over 40, with Connor Middleton 128th in 1/41/20. Pete Savill finished 12th and 1st Veteran Over 60 in 43/09 in the March Hair Raiser 10K race in Wolverhampton.

Neil O'Hanlon continued his successes in and around the County with 2nd place in the Mash March Madness 10K forest trail race on Cannock Chase, in 38/57 and 2nd place in 35/08 in the inaugural Shrewsbury 10K race, which attracted 860 runners. At Shrewsbury, Alan Dean ran a personal best time of 38/27 in 19th place and Pete Savill finished 1st Veteran Over 60 in 33rd place in 40/38.

The Club sent a strong squad to The Chocoholics 5K Race in Newtown, with four of the squad finishing in the top ten and three personal best times. Gabe Morris won the race ,with James Hickinbottom 2nd  (personal best time) Matt Hall 4th (personal best time) and Steve Waters 8th. Sara Willhoit produced a personal best time to finish 2nd in the Womens' race. Richard Jones was 1st Veteran Over 50 and Grace Hough 1st Lady Veteran Over 65.
