Shrewsbury Athletic Club's Great Britain International Sara Willhoit has been in action on the marathon running scene demonstrating that she is currently in top form with a victory in the Dorney Lake Marathon in Windsor, Buckinghamshire. The Shrewsbury athlete, who competed for Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the World Long Distance Running Championships in Argentina last November, won the Womens' race by over two minutes in a personal best time of 2/49/30 on the flat but wet and windy course around the purpose built lake which was home to the London 2012 Olympic rowing events. Club colleague Paul Jones was also in top form with victory in the Veteran Over 50 category in 11th place overall in 2/34/40.
