Shrewsbury Athletic Club had their strongest turnout of runners so far this season for the Vic Musgrove Fast 5K Race, the penultimate race in the Telford Sexarathon Series. James Hickinbottom lead the squad of sixteen home for the second consecutive Sexarathon race, in 8^th place, with Matt Hall 12^th and Gabe Morris 19^th.The enthusiasm within the squad as the end of the Series approaches was evident, with personal bests for James Hickinbottom, Matt Hall, Matt Guilder and Keith Austin and there was a strong performance from Club debutant Robert Lisney in 34^th place. Pete Savill was victor in the Veteran Over 60 category and Sara Willhoit was 1^st Senior Lady and 4^th Lady overall.

There were successful outcomes for the three Club runners who competed in the Stiperstones Fell Race, the penultimate race in the Shropshire Summer Fell Series, with club captain Graham Jones 1^st Veteran Over 60, Harry Duffy 2^nd Male Under 18 and Gill Evans 2^nd Lady Over 55.

Club runners were out in force for the Dearnford Lake Relays at Whitchurch, where a notable evening unfolded, with Club teams taking 1^st and 2^nd place in the Mens' relay and 3^rd place in the Womens' relay. 1^st Mens' team were Luke Butler, Gabe Morris and James Hickinbottom, 2^nd Mens' team were Dan Smith, Matt Hall and Brett Edwards and 3^rd Womens' team were Jacqueline Macey, Lauren Morley and Sara Willhoit. Brett Edwards recorded the fastest leg time of the evening, with James Hickinbotom 2^nd fastest, Matt Hall 3^rd, Gabe Morris 5^th and Luke Butler 10^th.

Three Club runners competed in the International Snowdon Race. Adam Roberts finished 65^th in 1/23/43, Haydn Jones 242^nd and 9^th Veteran Over 55 in 1/42/56 and Anna Bartlett finished 1^st Lady Veteran Over 45 and 20^th Lady overall in 1/36/06.
