There was success for Shrewsbury Athletic Club's men and women runners in the Severn Bridges 10K Race, with James Hickinbottom retaining his crown from last year, finishing 1^st in 34/23, Lydia Carter finishing 1^st Lady in 42/58 and Jenna Middleton, 3^rd Lady and 2^nd Lady Veteran Over 35 in 43/53. Luc Faugere was 11^th in 39/55, Lucy Grayston 7^th Lady in 45/52 and Michael Ingpong 75^th in 48/39.

There were further successes in the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon, with Paul Jones 5^th in 1/11/47 and 1^st Veteran Over 45 and Sara Willhoit 2^nd Lady in a personal best time of 1/21/16. Other notable performances came from Steve Waters, 28^th in a personal best time of 1/18/15 and Richard Jones 82^nd in 1/26/36 and 3^rd Veteran Over 50, while Lauren Morley finished 7^th Lady in 1/28/58, a personal best time by over 5 minutes, after having broken her personal best time at the 10K mark.

The final fixture in the Telford Sexarathon Series took place with the staging of the Harper Scarper 5K Race in Newport. The squad were lead home by Matt Hall in 12^th place in 16/53, with Luke Butler 16^th in 17/11 and Connor Middleton 22^nd in 17/39 and there were personal best times for Stewart Farley and Chris Hedley. The Club had two Age Category winners for the Series, with Kevin Francis 1^st Veteran Over 50 and Pete Savill 1^st Veteran Over 60 and other individual results for the Series included Chris Wakeman 3^rd Veteran Over 55, Pete Butler 5^th Veteran Over 60, Luke Butler 7^th Senior Man and Stewart Farley 9^th Veteran Over 35.

In the Spitfire 10K at RAF Cosford, Michael Thomas finished 36^th in 46/08 and Duncan Rose 55^th in 46/58 and 3^rd Veteran Over 60.

Attention now turns to cross country, with the Club now in two leagues, having joined the North Staffordshire Cross Country League. First fixture in the North Staffs League takes place at Winsford on Saturday 30^th September and the first fixture in the North Wales Cross Country League takes place at Wrexham on Saturday 7^th October.
