The Telford Sexarathon Road Race Series has continued with the staging of the Phoenix Flyer 5K Race, with entries sold out as the popularity of the Series increases. Jamie Lambie led a squad of 12 runners home in a personal best time of 16/23, with a further personal best time for Jake Milovsorov and age category successes for Pete Savill 1^st Over 65, Jim Hickinbottom 2^nd Over 35, Haydn Jones 2^nd Over 55, Ollie Parry 3^rd Over 35, Kevin Francis 3^rd Over 50 and Chris Wakeman 3^rd Over 60. Naomi Cook finished 23^rd in the Womens' Race.

Elsewhere, a busy road running scene saw Club runners competing in the Market Drayton 10K, with Pete Savill 1^st Over 65 and Colin Perry with a personal best time, Newtown 10K won by Paul Jones and 1^st Over 45, also Richard Jones 1^st Over 55, Haydn Jones 2^nd Over 55 and Gill Evans 1^st Lady Over 55, Erdigg 10K with Lauren Morley 2^nd Lady, Christleton 5K, with personal bests for Matt Hall, Charlie Rogers, Simon Cole and Adam Bentham and Southampton Marathon, where Stewart Farley finished 42^nd in 3/09/38.

Away from the road running scene, the Shropshire Hills Summer Series continued with the Wrekin Streak, with Stuart Proctor 22^nd in 22/34 and Gill Evans 78^th in 29/48 and 2^nd Lady Over 55. Two of the Club's young fell runners were in action in the Junior Wrekin Streak Race, Adam Bentham finishing 1^st and Zach Mckenna 4^th. In the Sheinton Steeplechase, Pete Savill was 27^th and 1^st Over 65 in 23/58, Steve Turk 29^th in 24/14, Daphne Jones 47^th and 1^st Under 17 Girl in 26/36 and Gill Evans 85^th and 2^nd Lady Over 55 in 29/48.
