The Sexarathon may have finished but we’ve still been busy racing. Here’s a roundup of some of our recent results, with more to come as we catch up online with the last week of racing.
Starting with this weekend, there was a SAC 1-2 at the Tibberton Trot 10k. Gabe Morris powered to the win in 34:18, followed by Ben Gibson in 35:08 to complete the Shrewsbury first and second on the rural multi-terrain race.

Last week we also had a great turnout at in Wrexham at the Village Bakery Half, with great times all round.
Paul Aston continued the great form he showed in the Sexarathon with a run of 1:15:43, and was closely followed by Connor Middleton in 1:15:53.
Carl Aveyard and Jon Bowie ran together for 1:18:01 and Jim Hall ran a big pb of 1:21:47, showing the benefit of a consistent summer of marathon training.

Rich McKenna continued his fine form in his summer marathon buildup with a strong run at the South Cheshire Harriers 20. Rich’s time of 2:00:51 saw him finish in 4th overall and win the M45 category.
