Neil O'Hanlon has been at the forefront of Shrewsbury Athletic Club's summer campaign on the County's roads, finishing 8th in the Phoenix Flyer 5K Race, the second event in the Telford Sexarathon Series and 11th in the Market Drayton 10K Race, taking 2nd Veteran Over 40 in both events. At Phoenix, he was closely followed by Gabe Morris in 9th place , Matt Hall, 12th and James Hickinbottom, 17th. Kevin Francis was 2nd Veteran Over 50 and Pete Savill 1st Veteran Over 60. Sara Willhoit was 4th in the Womens' Race, in a personal best time, and Jacqueline Macey, 2nd Lady Over 35. At Market Drayton, Neil O'Hanlon was followed by Gabe Morris in 18th place, Kevin Francis, 34th, Andy Yapp, 36th and  Alan Dean, 56th. Sara Willhoit was 3rd in the Womens' Race.

The Shropshire Summer Fell Race Series continued with the Caradoc Classic Fell Race, with Matt Hall's first podium finish, in 3rd place, ahead of Gabe Morris, 7th and Connor Middleton, 14th. Club captain Graham Jones was 1st Veteran Over 60, Harry Duffy, 1st Male Under 18 and Gill Evans 1st Lady Over 55.

The Club had the race winner and a number of Category winners in the Sheinton Steeplechase race,  with Gabe Morris first over the finish line and Category winners Harry Duffy, 1st Male Under 18, Haydn Jones 1st Veteran Over 50, Graham Jones 1st Veteran Over 60 and Gill Evans 1st Lady Over 55.

Ultra marathon specialist, Michael Betts competed in the 2nd Welsh Ultra Marathon Series event on the Brecon Beacons, finishing 4th Man in 8 hours 10 minutes and 28 seconds over the mixed trail and mountain course, covering 42 miles and 2800 metres of  ascent.

There was further success for the Club's resurgent Womens' team at the popular Attingham Park Relays, comprising 3 x 2 mile legs, where the team of  Sara Willhoit 12/23, Jo Dean 13/52 and Lauren Morley 13/35 finished 1st in the Womens' Team event. The Mens' team of Connor Middleton 11/16, Andy Lewis 13/33 and Pete Savill 12/40 were 6th Mens' team.
