Paul Jones heads the youngsters at Helena Tipping 10k

We had a great turnout this weekend at local favourite race the
Run Cheshire Helena Tipping 10k, just over the border in Wrexham.
Paul Jones led the way on a hot and humid day, running 33:41 to win the Vet50 category and secure qualification for another England Masters vest.
There were sub-35 runs too for Rich McKenna (34:30), James Durman with a PB (34:44) and Paul Aston (34:53). Luke Butler was just outside in 35:01, running his quickest 10k since Telford in 2016 as he continues to look strong this year.
Lauren Cooper was 4th Female in 35:55, Jan Cook won her age category in 40:31, Lauren Morley ran well (41:41) and welcome to the club Rachael Handley, who ran 41:55 on her debut for SAC. Bryony Perkins fought hard for 43:51 too.
