With 17 runners in the squad and the six team scorers all finishing in the top 20 places, the result was the Mens’ team taking over at the top of the Division after two fixtures, having finished 3rd at Bangor. The squad was ably lead home by Gabe Morris in 7th place, followed by Adam Roberts 13th in his first cross country for the Club, with Scott Hall 15th, having overhauled five of his club colleagues during the race, then Michael Betts, James Hickinbottom and Luke Butler, in close contention throughout in 16th, 17th and 18th places respectively. The Masters’ team were 2nd on the day, rising to 2nd in the Series after two events and there were successes on the day for club captain Graham Jones 1st Veteran Over 55 and Pete Savill 2nd Veteran Over 60.
