Thanks to everybody who turned out to run this race. the weather forecast wasn't great but as usual the rain cleared for the start of the race and we were blessed by the sun.

The closest finish in the 8 years of the evnt saw Robin Sedman-Smith (Newport & District AC) hold off a strong challenge from Shrewsbury's own Gabe Morris to win by 1 second.

In reality it was probably closer than that - but we don't have elecronic timing. Neil O'Hanlon (unattached) finished well and made sure the top 3 were inside 31 mins. Kim Fawke (Lawley Running Club) had an excellent run to finish 1st Lady and 14th overall.

Rachael Brown (Staffs Moorlands) was 2nd Lady (and 40th overall) and with 3rd Lady Sara Willholt (unattached) coming home in 44th place the three top ladies made the top 45.

The 2016 Race will be on 12th November. Thanks to the National Trust, Rybrook BMW and Up & Running, Cotsold Outdoor for their support for this race.
