International Honours for SAC athletes

It’s not just our junior runners who are impressing this week, with Welsh Masters recognition coming for Ollie Parry and Haydn Jones. The pair were selected to represent Wales over 5k in the home nations masters athletics meet of the Long Course Weekend in Tenby.
On a tough course in West Wales Ollie ran strongly from the front but was unlucky to be in a group of runners misdirected and disqualified. Haydn ran very strongly for 19:32, making him the 6th placed V60.
Congratulations to both on the honour of international recognition, the reward for great training and strong recent results.
